Hand-moulded oil burner for essential oils, with a small opening below for a tea light. Longpi pottery is an age-old technique unique to just two villages in north-east India. Made by mixing ground black stone with locally found clay, longpi pieces are characterised by a deep black patina, and the burnished finish creates a natural protective seal. Being handmade, each will vary slightly in shape and size.
Simply place a few drops of essential oils in the small bowl on top with some water, then place a lighted tealight underneath. The steam created will fill the room with the relaxing aroma of the essential oils you choose. Always place your longpi oil burner on a protective surface away from other furnishings and handle with care, as it will get hot. Take caution near open flames and never leave burning candles unattended.
